Welcome to UCUM Preschool!  We are so pleased that your child will be a part of our preschool family.  We are very proud of our program and are very excited about this school year.  Listed below are facts you will need to know about our preschool before your child begins.  You will also find additional important information in Preschool Policies and Programs and Activities.  Please read them carefully and feel free to call or email the preschool anytime with questions.

Teacher/Child Ratio: Each classroom will have a lead teacher and an aide.  The three year old classes will have eleven children in each class.  The four year old classes will have twelve children in each class.  This produces a ratio of one adult to six or less children.

First Day of School: The first day of school will be Sept. 2 for all classes except Wednesday/Friday classes.  The first day for those classes will be Sept. 3.

Visit Day: Each child will receive a post card from his/her teacher inviting him/her to visit the classroom with you on a specified day and time.  No classmates will be in the classroom for that visit.  This gives the teacher a chance to focus on your child and show her/him around the room and let her/him know how we are preparing for her/his first day at school.  Don't be surprised if the teacher pays less attention to you!  The visits are short and your turn will come at Parent Orientation!

Tuition and Fees: You will pay a $100.00 registration fee when you register.  This is a non-refundable fee.  No more money is due until school begins.  At that time, your first month's tuition and the first semester supply fee will be due.  See below for a detail of fees:
